ASOS Sunglasses - HERE

I find it impossible to find sunglasses that suit my face shape and when these little beauties caught my eye on the ASOS website I thought it was worth a try (free return delivery and all that!) I prefer tortoise shell over black glasses for Summer and the cat eye detail makes them feel a little vintage - for £12 you can't ask more than that!

They arrived a week or so ago and haven't left my face since. Even though they're now a little wonky from being sat on...I couldn't care less...this is true love!

Sequins, skeletons and lumberjack plaid...doesn't sound like a winning combination but I kind of love it!

This really was a last minute "thrown together" outfit for a night out in Brixton. I wore it when we headed to Hootenanny's for a night of dancing to celebrate one of my best friends birthdays the other weekend. It was an amazing night and this outfit was the most perfect combination of party/gig wear!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I know it's a bit late but I hope you all had an amazing festive period and are getting ready for your New Year celebrations!

I've spent the last week at my parents house in Wiltshire celebrating Christmas with my family. It's been lovely but I've eaten far too much cheese and chocolate and am now getting ready to get back to work and reality. With my return to real life comes my return to blogging!

The eagle eyed amongst you might spot the leaves still just about hanging on the trees in the background of these pictures, a tell tale sign of Autumn and unorganised blogging...

Although they're untimely and out of season I thought I'd post these pictures to showcase 2 of my favourite recent Primark purchases. My scarf has been mentioned frequently in my Highstreet Haul HERE and October Favourites HERE - I freaaaaaaaaaaaaking love it! It's so large, warm and beautiful, I'm not usually one for orange but the mix of the aztec/navaho patterning and Autmnal colours are just too delightful to resist!

These jeans are amazing, a really unexpected Primark treasure. They were featured in a recent Primark haul HERE, and aswell as fitting like a dream they are dotted with tiny velour stars...Lawd I lurve stars!

Busy weekends and minimal daylight mean that I've had absolutely no time at all to take outfit photos recently. I've planned a mega session this weekend and am going to devote two days to shooting 5 outfits and making 3 videos...wish me luck!

Bare Faced Cheek

This is what I wore for a day out in London last weekend.

"Oh Lawd, another Missguided T shirt dress" I hear you cry! Well I'm sorry, you'd better get used to it as I am o.b.s.e.s.s.e.d with these bad boys!

Some might say these dresses are a little shapeless but I DIY'd a cinched waist with an old Primark shirt and topped off the whole look my aztec backpack and cut out boots.

This was the most perfect outfit for a day out in this changeable weather as you can layer up or down in the blink of an eye. I honestly think these dresses are such good staple pieces that can be styled for so many different occasions - to prove my point and justify my love for them I'm planning on putting toghether a "5 ways I style these" post...watch this space!

On Sunday I turned 24. As I'm getting on a bit I decided not to have a heavy night out clubbing 'til the early hours but instead to spend the day mooching in the sunshine with my family and our little bundle of scruff Hector!

If you're going to spend the day mooching, you need to be comfortable and this Missguided T shirt dress is made for just that! I ordered both the black and the white the other day and I know that they'll become a staple for the rest of the summer. They're really good quality, made of thick cotton with roll sleeves and a ribbed neck and cost less than £16! Mine are 10s and the length is the only thing that I'm not totally sold on as there's no shape to these dresses at all, the mid length could lead to a serious case of frumpery if I'm not careful. I think the white one will eventually be turned up a couple of inches...eventually... 

These dresses are made to throw on and they hide bellies full of birthday cake - it's a double thumbs up from me! I'm also lusting after this one from MG and this one from Never Fully Dressed. 

The pendant necklace I'm wearing was a gift from my parents, a little bunny looking at the moon, fitting eh?!

Wear Flowers In Your Hair - OOTN

They say "less is more" but I don't consider that to always be the case. Sometimes more is more. Sometimes you need a little over indulgence in life, whether it's food, fashion or SATC reruns and that's a ok!

Today was one of those days and I wanted to wear denim, pleather, flowers and studs all at once! It's not to everyone's taste but so what?!

OOTN: Watch The Sun Come Up

We walked along the beach to get to the evening reception venue atop a cliff over looking the sea. It was going to be a long night full of food, dancing and celebrations so I needed an outfit that would last me until the sun came up!

Those of you who watch my you tube videos may recognise the shoes and dress from two different Primark hauls and the Primark obsessives amongst you may have an inkling...but I can confirm...this whole outfit is from Primark!

Partying with members of the Italian and Greek elite and fashionistas in head-to-toe Primark is a risky move as it may not be a "dirty little secret" but it's not really classed as a revered fashion house! But no one rumbled me and a couple of guests even commented on how much they liked my outfit...*smug smirk*...mwahahahaaaa if only you knew!

One of my favourite outfits EVERRRRRRRRRRRR I know this dress will be a staple for this summer! It's one of the most beautiful printed items I own and the shape is divine, Primarni I salute you!

  

Daddy S rocked a traditional dapper English gent look in a linen suit and blue shirt.

The party was incredible! Elegant, glamorous and stylish complete with personalised cocktails, suprise fireworks, an amazing soundtrack and mouth wateringly good food...nom nom lobster risotto...nommmmm. We had a whale of a time and didn't get home until breakfast time!
