1,500 Pennies

Fedora - Topman sale similar HERE
Cardigan - Charity Shop
T shirt - COS
Leggings - H&M (old)
Converse - Office

This cardigan might be my best EVER charity shop find!

I spied it whilst browsing through the Bristol charity shops with my sister over the Easter weekend and was instantly smitten! From the colours to the oversized shape and the fluffy texture of the knit, it's perfect and only cost me a measly £15!!

I like to think I don't own many "marmite" love/hate items...but turns out this definitely is one. Although I couldn't think of anything more beautiful it has actually made some people gag!
Are you a lover or a hater?

Country Girl Take My Hand

Dress - Zara (sale)
Boots - New Look (sale) HERE

Necklace - Bohemian Collective HERE (DIYed to be a necklace)

The weather was so amazing the other weekend when I was at my parents house that Hector and I couldn't resist heading out to the fields to take some outfit photos of my favourite new pieces.

This dress was something I'd had my eye on for a while when I saw it on the Zara website a couple of months ago. Although it's not at all my usual style it really caught my eye. The price tag was pretty hefty so I put it to the back of my mind...until...I saw it crop up on Instagram for the sale price of £12.99... Cue frantic phone calls to friends who could pop to Zara as it had totally sold out online!! My amazing friend Lydia came up with the goods and managed to find me a size M (I'd say a 10-12) whch is a perfect fit! It's just as beautiful in the flesh as it was online and I'm so happy that I managed to get my paws on it.

My boots are another sale bargain from New Look and I'll be putting up a haul video very soon which features these bits and other beauties so take a leaf out of our book and keep an eye out for that...!

I hope you're all having a beautiful weekend!

Wear Flowers In Your Hair - OOTN

They say "less is more" but I don't consider that to always be the case. Sometimes more is more. Sometimes you need a little over indulgence in life, whether it's food, fashion or SATC reruns and that's a ok!

Today was one of those days and I wanted to wear denim, pleather, flowers and studs all at once! It's not to everyone's taste but so what?!

Headband - Primark
Shirt - H&M
Shorts - H&M
Boots - Ebay similar HERE and HERE

Back in England and running Saturday morning errands in the rain!

Gilet - Primark (DIY)
T Shirt - Missguided
Skirt - New Look
Moccasins - New Look
Belt - Primark
Bag - Matalan  (only white left online but pretty sure black is still available in stores)
Anklets - holiday
Milk - Marks & Spencer !

Absolutely in love with this skirt - it has elephants on it and only costs £12 - oh ma lawd!!
Picked it up just before I went away and wore it relentlessly on holiday with crop tops but it looks just as good with a t-shirt now that I'm back in cold, wet England.

At least there's Henry Caville in 3d to cheer me up!

OOTD: Camel Racing

The title of this post is no joke.

On Monday we travelled to a field in the middle of nowhere to go to a country fair type event with ferris wheel, candyfloss, dog shows and...yes...camel racing!

I have honestly never seen anything like it! Camels are bloody enormous, definitely a lot bigger than I thought they were and they tower over a 6ft human. The jockeys were more used to riding ponies in gymkhanas than these mighty "ships of the desert" and looked absolutely terrified. As soon as they were mounted the camels were raring to go and then they were off!!

I do like camels. They have eyelashes to die for. But I don't want one as a pet. Thanks but no thanks.

Jacket - Primark (v old) with the sleeves hacked off
Dress - River Island £12 in the sale!

Hope you all had a b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l bank holiday weekend!

Video: Get Ready With Me for Field Day Festival May 2013

The Bank Holiday weekend was craaaaaazy good!

I went to Field Day Festival in Hackney on Saturday for a friends birthday. The weather was set to be wet and cold but we actually had beautiful sunshine alllll daaaaaaay. Honestly, there is nothing better than sitting outside drinking in the sunshine with your friends...bliss

So I got up at 7 am to make a "get ready with me" video before I left! Hell yes, that's dedication right there. I love these kinds of vids so thought I'd have a go at making my own. It's not the most interesting but if you fancy checking out how I did my make up/hair for the day check it out HERE

Princess Peach

Who amongst us didn't want to be a princess when they were little?

For most of us that was never going to happen and 10 years on we're just happy in our own little lives...but hold your horses...don't give up on the dream just yet...

Crowns are making a comeback!

I need one of these on my head pronto!

Can definitely picture myself strolling around town wearing one of these with a plain t shirt dress and chunky boots. Of course you'd get a couple of odd looks, but know that deep inside all the too-cool-for-school teenage girls would be green with envy.

All photos belong to www.regalrose.co.uk

Regal Rose is the place to head to if you want to pick up one of these little beauties! They are selling "Arwen" ombre lace crowns in turquoise, purple and pink for £24 - a bargain of a price for something which could lead you to bag your Prince Charming!

Check out their full range of princess goodness HERE

Does anyone else fancy joining the Crown Cult with me?

Bloggers Lookbook: April 2013

I'm spending this bank holiday weekend at my parents in the countryside so I will be mostly mooching round in wellies and pj bottoms!

Therefore as there won't be an outfit  post of mine this weekend, I decided to put together a post featuring a collection of my fave blogger looks from the last month.

Rosie Glow - The Carrie Tutu
Errrrrrr...wow... Rosie produces amazing outfits with a quirky edge on a daily basis but this crazy cool look made my jaw hit the floor!

Jade Francesca - It's in the stars...
This incredible outfit actually featured on Jade's blog at the end of March but it's too good not to feature in my favourites. Not only does she have a wardrobe to die for but this gal has a knack for mixing up beautiful boho looks with an edge - crochet, lace flares and plaits together, yes please!

Wise Rabbit Says - Square, Circle, Triangle
Gaaaaah Ashley how do you do it? Another effortless mix of shapes, textures and wishlist accessories which makes me want to take scissors to my jeans and rock a fedora ASAP!

It goes without saying that if you aren't already followers of these blogging beauts, you should become one pronto. Their blogs are all totally unique and their individual styles are completely inspirational!

What do you think of the top three I've chosen?

Coachella: Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

In my previous post about Coachella I challenged Vanessa Hudgens to prove me wrong and produce a festival outfit that was actually worthy of her icon status.

Looks like the challenge was accepted...

This girl is too good. It's as though the over contrived and almost try-hard outfits of the first festival weekend never happened. She's back in the game and going for gold!

Since seeing pictures of this incredible outfit, I've eaten my words and resumed my position as a follower of the Church of Hudgens. Long may it continue.

Coachella 2013: Cool Cats

Bad news. I have the lurgi.

As it was the first weekend of Coachella last weekend I was planning on doing a "WIWW" (what I would wear) kind of post this weekend but since Tuesday I've been in bed sans make up and a bra, looking and feeling like roadkill. Nice eh?

Hopefully I'll be able to do this post at some point next week but for the moment I thought I'd share some of my stand-out favourites from the weekend.

Kate Bosworth
The fashion world grovels at the feet of Miss Bosworth and it's not hard to see why. She manages to rock fur, embellishments, maxi, sheer, monochrome and buckles all in one effortless outfit...there are no words. This woman is a goddess. I don't think I am the only one who would shudder at the thought of trying this many trends out on ourselves at home (images of myself looking the lovechild of Ke$ha and Bellatrix Lestrange are floating through my head), it's a terrifying thought for us mere mortals. Kate, we salute you!

It's recently been announced that KB is creating a "festival" range for Topshop later in the year. Expect plenty of crochet, fringing and embellishment from the queen of cool herself and at purse friendly prices - HALLELUJAAAAAH!

Alessandra Ambrosio
Oh ho boho! This Victoria's Angel has just shot straight onto my fashion radar with crochet, fringing, studs and suede pulled together with endless pins and tousled hair. Festival perfection!

Audrina Partridge
Floppy hat - check. Light dress - check. Statement jewellery - check. Bovver boots - check. Tattooed boyfriend - check check check!
She's got it all, a simple but seriously stylish Coachella outfit that we could all take inspiration from for the summer.

Ashley Benson
Love the casual all black look with statement logos and rock inspired rip details; this is the kind of outfit which totally stands out at a festival amidst the oodles of indie, boho and hippie chicks and could be worked as an everyday look. Rock onnnnnn Ashley!

ALL PICTURES ARE FROM THE MAIL ONLINE

Controversially Vanessa Hudgens doesn't appear on this list - don't get me wrong, I worship the ground she walks on but I have to say I thought her looks for Coachella were overdone and predictable...don't hate me! Prove me wrong VH, the challenge is on!

What do you think about the favourites I've selected?
